Green Road

Lying on the sand, my gaze wanders over the curves of this leaf.
It arches its back and invites me to caress its pale spine, soaring towards the infinity of time.
As my fingers skim over it, they uncover the delicate work that attaches its leaflets firmly and beautifully.
The light splashes through the shades of green and gold, giving this piece of nature the privilege of timelessness.
It envelops me and intoxicates me with hope. The road at its centre is golden, a simple path to take without hesitation.
Like life, the stalk sometimes bends, but always stays on course.
Having as a goal the construction of one's life, of life, resembles this leaf from the centre of which a thousand blades of multiple events come to attach themselves to create it, to, at the end of the road, realise how beautiful it has been since its birth.
